Young Jackfruit is very versatile. The flesh has a mild flavour to it so it can easily absorb any seasoning. It’s normally used in salads, wraps, burgers or cooked as a vegetable in spicy curries and side dishes. Ripe jackfruit tend to have a strong and distinctive fruity smell. Unlike Young Jackfruit, It’s either eaten by itself as a fruit or used as an ingredient in desserts because it’s naturally sweet.
